Easy Physical Science Experiments

Easy Physical Science Experiments

Children love to do physical science experiments because they can make some materials that can create unusual phenomenon. Students will learn faster this lesson by experiment than just listen to the theory in classroom. Therefore you need to know simple experiment that they can do with basic materials.

First experiment is related to egg. Egg cannot be put into a bottle since the egg is usually larger than the mouth of the bottle. But if you use air pressure, the egg can fit in the bottle. Prepare all the materials including paper, bottle, peeled egg, and light. Next, you need to put burning paper into the bottle. Egg that cannot enter before will enter into the bottle immediately after you put it on the top of the bottle. Second, students can feel amaze when they can bend water. It needs static electricity so you have to prepare some ways that can produce it such as run a comb on your hair or rub plastic ruler in wool. Then turn on the faucet and see that water stream will bend once you bring the ruler or comb close.

Last, you can make tornado miniature so the students know how the real tornado works. Prepare a glass jar with ¾ water in it, a teaspoon of detergent, and food coloring. Put the dishwasher detergent and food coloring into the jar and then shake it for about 20 seconds. You will see the water for a tunnel that similar to tornado.
