Do you ever see smart students but he/she cannot respect others or become arrogant? It will be so annoying, right? Therefore, in this example, we can conclude that character education is not less important than academic skills. There are many teachers have realized this so they are not only focus on academic only when they teach but also on life lesson.

Character education should be taught since early age and you can start it with introducing all human’s traits. Students can list all character traits in paper and draw the faces that represent each trait. Next, choose which traits are good and bad so they can understand their strengths and weaknesses. To understand and develop good traits is not enough if you cannot apply it into your real life. Therefore, teacher can make various activities in classroom to teach them valuable lessons and the realization.

One of the activities that they can enjoy it is writing a letter. The letter should content of what bad attitude that they’ve ever done to their friends and what the reason behind it. The students can use fake name and the letter will not be sent to the victims. It will help them to reflect their mistakes and how to make it right.
